Dear Delegates,

It is our privilege and honour to welcome you to the 11th edition of WHISMUN (Wisdom High International School Model United Nations).

We both know what it's like to be on your side of this letter. Not long ago, we were delegates at this very conference — still figuring out how to phrase an amendment or whether we'd ever have anything worth saying in the room. Somewhere along the way, this conference became a home. We became USGs, then Director General and Deputy Secretary General, and now we find ourselves here, writing to you as Secretaries General of the eleventh edition.

That journey is why WHISMUN means so much to us, and why we've put everything we have into making this edition the best one yet. The committees, the agendas, the theme — every piece of it has been built with care, and we're genuinely proud of what WHISMUN 2026 looks like. The scale of this edition is something we've been working toward for a long time, and it shows. The topics feel alive and urgent in a way that we think you'll feel the moment you start preparing. This is an edition we have been building not just over months, but over years of sitting in those same chairs and understanding exactly what a great conference should feel like.

Choosing the theme meant choosing what we believed this edition should actually stand for. WHISMUN has built something over the years: a tradition that runs deeper than any single conference. The 11th edition has the unique opportunity to define how the next decade is going to play out, not as a continuation of what came before, but as the beginning of what comes next. The Next Frontier is where we actually are. There's ambition in it, and real urgency too. The debates ahead of you reflect exactly that: from the humanitarian limits of international law, to the crises that take hold when democracy has collapsed. That is what The Eleventh Hour asks — not just to debate, but to step into a chapter that hasn't been written yet. The next decade of WHISMUN begins here, and we hope what begins here for you is something that lasts well beyond it.

More than any resolution, what we hope you carry out of Nashik is something quieter: that your voice in that room mattered and that you were part of something bigger than any single debate.

A community that has been building for eleven years and will keep going long after this edition ends. Model UN has a way of doing that. We are proof of it, and we hope this conference does the same for you.

The room is ready. We'll be on the other side of it, waiting for you.

With warmth and anticipation,

Reyani Panchal
Secretary General
